Once I bumped in to a blog where the lady makes her own
tools for cold porcelain crafts..It inspired me so much !
It’s a fact that we often don’t get exact tools ,hence we
need to make our own tools as per our requirements.
These days I am doing lots of clay crafts.I have bought a set of clay tools
from the local craft stores but I found those tools are often not useful when
it comes to face-making or doing other intricate details.
Here I wish to share some tips on how I made my own tools out of discarded brushes
I believe that anything can be your tool as long as you are
creative and as long as you know your requirements.
Things you need:
Old brushes which we often throw away .
A saw
Old news paper
A sand paper

Cut of the metallic part off the brush using the saw

Then sand the remaining part of the brush,news paper will prevent your room from getting dusty!
The paints will come off as you rub it with sand paper,and the surface will become
smooth..latter on you can make the surface more smoother with tiny –grain or water paper
You are done!

Always keeps your wooden tools oiled. Any kind of oils will
do..
making more with less is always fun!
